Chou Chou began with a trip to Paris...

What started as a nickname quietly became the heart of our family.

It became a reminder to slow down and notice the moments that become our favorite memories.

Our Story

During our babymoon in Paris, we spent one morning wandering the city on a sweet tour—crêpes, chocolate, ice cream, warm pastries, and every little treat we could find.

Somewhere along the way, our guide congratulated us on our pregnancy and smiled before calling our baby "chou chou."

She explained that while it literally translates to little cabbage, it's one of the sweetest French terms of endearment—a way of saying my darling.

We hadn't chosen a name for our little girl yet, but somehow Chou Chou stayed with us.

It became her nickname before she was even born.

And somehow... it never left.

Today she's still our little Chou Chou—a French-loving girl who never says no to pain au chocolat—and every time we hear that nickname, we're reminded of where this story began.

Looking back, it was never really about Paris.

It was about what Paris gave us—a tiny tradition, a special nickname, and a memory we'll carry for the rest of our lives.

That's exactly what Chou Chou Creations is all about.

The meaning of Chou Chou

We never knew a simple nickname would someday become the name of a business.

Looking back, the memories weren't the landmarks.

They were the breakfasts.

The walks.

The conversations.

The tiny traditions.

Why Chou Chou Exists

Childhood moves faster than any of us expect.

We wanted to build something that helps families pause for just a little while.

To celebrate.

To laugh.

To tell stories.

To make memories worth carrying home

What started with stuffed animals quickly became something much bigger — recipes made together, adventures taken, stories shared around the table, and little traditions families can call their own.

Because every family deserves stories they’ll tell for year.

And the kind of memories that make you smile while cleaning up the house after a long day.

What We Believe

Slow down.

Childhood isn’t meant to be rushed.

Celebrate often.

Ordinary days deserve a little magic too.

Make them feel special.

Every child deserves a moment that’s entirely theirs.

Keep the traditions.

Childhood isn’t meant to be rushed.

Make it beautiful.

Because beautiful details have a way of becoming beautiful memories.

Meet Ali

Hi, I'm Ali.

I’m a corporate woman in finance and stay busy with creating Chou Chou.

But becoming a mom completely changed how I measured success.

Somewhere between bedtime stories, birthday candles, and mornings around the table, I realized the moments we remember are almost never the expensive ones.

They're the ordinary moments we chose to make extraordinary.

That's why I created Chou Chou.
