We bake these cookies constantly.

They’re the chocolate chip cookies I make for everything — weekends, get-togethers, random afternoons when we want something sweet — and without fail, someone asks for the recipe.

The funny part is, it isn’t actually my recipe.

Years ago, I found it on Food Network, made it once, and never looked back. It became the chocolate chip cookie recipe in our house.

At this point, we’ve made them so many times that they feel like one of our family recipes, even though I can’t take any credit for creating them.

So instead of pretending otherwise, I’m sending you straight to the original.
